01 Data controller
Riviera Apps & Web (hereinafter “Riviera”, “we”), located at Av. Bonampak 77-M8, 77500 Cancún, Q.R., Mexico, is responsible for the use and protection of your personal data. For any matter related to this notice, you can contact us on WhatsApp at +52 56 5059 7677.
02 Personal data we collect
To provide quotes and proposals and to build the projects you hire us for, we may collect the following data:
- Identification data: name, name of the business or company.
- Contact data: email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Project data: type of business, description of needs, approximate budget and timeline.
- Billing data: Mexican tax ID (RFC), legal name, tax address and payment method (only if we issue an invoice).
- Technical browsing data: IP address, browser, device and pages visited on our site.
We do not collect sensitive personal data. If your project involves handling third-party data (for example, your own customers' data in a system we build), we will sign a specific agreement before processing it.
03 Purposes of processing
Primary purposes (necessary for our relationship):
- Responding to quote requests and information requests.
- Preparing proposals and service agreements.
- Developing, delivering and supporting the projects you hire us for.
- Issuing tax invoices and processing payments.
- Maintaining our business relationship and handling complaints or clarifications.
Secondary purposes (optional, require your consent):
- Occasionally sending you content, success stories or promotions.
- Inviting you to publish testimonials or case studies about your project.
- Carrying out statistical analysis to improve our services.
If you do not want your data used for secondary purposes, just let us know by messaging us on WhatsApp at +52 56 5059 7677. This will not affect your business relationship with Riviera.
04 Transfers
Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except in the following cases provided for by law:
- When the transfer is necessary to comply with legal or tax obligations.
- When we hire service providers (hosting, accounting, payment gateways) that act solely on our instructions and under a duty of confidentiality.
- When there is an order from a competent authority.
05 ARCO rights
You have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel or Oppose the processing of your personal data (ARCO rights), as well as to limit its use or disclosure.
To exercise any of these rights, send a request on WhatsApp to +52 56 5059 7677 or in writing to our office at Av. Bonampak 77-M8, 77500 Cancún, Q.R., including:
- Your full name and a way to contact you with our response.
- An official ID (scanned or a legible photo).
- A clear description of the right you wish to exercise and the data it applies to.
We will respond to your request within 20 business days. If it is granted, we will carry it out within the following 15 business days.
06 Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw the consent you have given us to process your personal data at any time. However, withdrawing it may mean suspending the services you have hired from us, since some data is essential to provide them.
Requests to withdraw consent must be sent through the same channels and with the same requirements as an ARCO request.
08 Changes to this notice
This notice may be modified, changed or updated as a result of new legal requirements, our own practices or other reasons. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date of the last update at the top of the document.
